Cenergy's fearless leader and founding partner, John, brings over 20 years of marketing and brand-building experience to the shop. John maintains relationships for our entire client roster, oversees business development and is the shop's lead sponsorship strategist. Prior to forming Cenergy, John served as executive vice president/integrated marketing for Adelphia Communications and the Buffalo Sabres. John also led the sales and marketing efforts for the Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Executive Vice President
A successful senior marketing executive and entrepreneur, Clive brings over 25 years of strategic marketing and advertising experience to Cenergy. He has worked on three continents for agency groups such as Grey, Leo Burnett, FCB, Wunderman and Havas. His unique global perspective, wide and diverse experiences across multiple disciplines, and longstanding passion for digital, social and mobile marketing make him an integral part of dailylife in the shop. He has worked with many market leaders across a broad range of categories including Coca Cola, BMW, Sprint, Lufthansa, Kraft, McDonald's and Sony PlayStation.
Not everyone is born with Ken's creative energy. He steers the creative process at Cenergy and is busy at the creative helm for anything that needs a vision. He leads award-winning concept development and oversees the creative execution for our event activation, collateral, TV, radio, print, POS, web and interactive media projects. Having studied design and fine art at the Rochester Institute of Technology and the Cleveland Institute of Art, Ken brings a trained eye to every brand.
Associate Creative Director
Sarah helps lead our creative team. She is at the forefront of all creative projects in the shop, developing concepts, setting tone and writing copy across all mediums. Sarah develops ongoing creative for clients like Upstate Farms, NHL Network, Turner Broadcasting, AT&T and ESPN. Sarah brings over ten years of agency experience to the shop. Her portfolio includes work for major retail, sports and entertainment brands.
Since joining Cenergy eight years ago, Rachel has become an integral part of our team. She brings creativity and passion to every client. Rachel is the account director for ESPN, AT&T, NHL Network, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Delaware North Companies. She's particularly skilled at nurturing client relationships and effectively communicates client needs to our internal talent to produce great results. Her past experience includes promotion and event management for the Buffalo Sabres as well as the Rochester Rhinos and Rattlers.
Colleen helps lead the tactical and logistical elements for First Niagara, Upstate Farms and Zippo. She also acts as the public relations and media coordination expert for our client accounts. Her experience strategizing and producing media correspondence and marketing collateral has proven invaluable to our shop. Her past experience includes public relations and marketing for U.S. Lacrosse and the University of Baltimore.
Cenergy's favorite Canadian, Mark specializes in the strategic planning, budgetary planning and account management of CPG brands. He works collaboratively with our creative, interactive and event teams to manage a wide variety of promotional platforms for our consumer goods clients. As account manager, he guides the direction of campaigns for Upstate Farms, Bison, Intense Milks and Crave. Prior to Cenergy, Mark gained marketing management experience at Rich Products and Xerox Canada.
As Cenergy's Business Development Manager, Nathan helps broaden the agency's reach, nationwide. He brings an energetic and creative flair to the art of sales and understands the unique needs of our clients. Nathan not only opens doors that work on behalf of the agency, but that also consider the wellbeing of our new client partners. Well-versed in sponsorship negotiations, his past includes automotive and retail experience. He has also sold and managed deals for FC Dallas (MLS) and management of a global sponsorship between Sheplers and the PBR.
With over 12 years of experience and a career that started in investments at Manning & Napier, Becky is good with numbers. That's why we've trusted her with our books since 2006. But her role at the shop goes well beyond spreadsheets and finances. She handles all of our trademark and legal needs, oversees business performance and assists in the strategic planning of the shop. Not only that, she's a brainstorming whiz, and even helped birth Beard-A-Thon, making her one of the agency's most vital staff members.
